Lahome rugs are designed with a non-slip backing, and just the right pile height for easy vacuuming.
For best results, we recommend turning off the beater bar or brush, using the lowest suction and power settings. Note: Please vacuum from side to side in the direction of the pile.
If you are still having difficulty, we recommend adding rug tape to keep it anchored to the floor, or placing additional heavy objects such as furniture on either side of the rug to help you vacuum better.
How effective is a handheld vacuum cleaner?
The short answer is yes. Handheld vacuum cleaners are compact in size, very convenient to carry and use, and have relatively less suction power. It is friendlier to our rugs and easier to work with. If you have a robot cleaner, it works equally well on our low-pile area rugs.
